Repetitive

Clocks gears go round
in circles.
A spinning patten
 repeating over
and over again.
Redundant, repetitive, repeating cycles.
Cycles make up the day. Never ending.
Going on and on and on

Wake up.
Go to school.
Go to work.
Come home.
Sleep. Wake up.
Repeat.

make a change

Different

A bird doesn’t belong
at the bottom of the sea.
Gasping for air
he has no oxygen
to breathe.
 Wet, matted down.
Wings can’t flap with water
weighing them down.
Fish keep telling him,
It’ll get better someday.
What do fish care?
They’re content
right where they are.
